How to play halo 3 online with a modem with out disconnecting phone lines.?

i have a arris modem ( if it matters) and the only way i can play online it to disconnect it and plug it in to my xbox 360 but it disconnects the phones because the phones are directly plugged in to the modem how do i play halo 3 online with out buying anything or disconnecting the phones is there another way i can get the phones pluged in at?

No, the only way is to purchase a router. They're not that expensive seriously. Easy to set up too. Just Plug in the router, and hook up that one chord to the back of it. Then buy a few extra cords, plug them into the back, then run one to the xbox, one to the phone, etc.
