i just got halo 3 and it wont let me turn my inverson on?

i go into settings and change it but as soon as i press A it automaticly switches me back to un inverted so how can i change this

I'm not sure, because I don't have the game, but I believe inversion only applies to when you are in a flying vehicle, and not to just walking around.

Are you sure your saving the Changed Settings right? also, make sure your not changing the Inverted Look under vehicles. Good luck, hope you solve your problem.
