I got a picture from the first Halo. on the outer surface, there's a peculiar circular design.
In the Halo 3 trailer, the big opening thing in africa is the same exact thing as the one on Halo (i compared - they match).
Remember that "leaked" halo 3 storyline? It says that there is a Halo on/in Earth's surface, which explains the opening structure. The big forerunner ship is like a key, flying straight into it.
watch the trailer again and think about what i've said. Then, it'll all make sense.
