I pre-ordered halo 3: ODST, when should I go to EBgames to pick it up? o.o?

Well, the guy at ebgames told me but I kinda forgot..when do people usually get thur pre-ordered games, on the release day or earlier?

the day before release, normally. i know it was like that for call of duty WOW but, i cant be certain.
