In Halo 3 if i get my highest skill to 20 and become the rank with the 2 blue

boxes what happens if i go down. Like if i lost a game and went back to 19 would i still have 2 boxes or go back to 1?

it stays the same. Halo logs in what ever the highest skill you have reached. So you can't go down on the name rank. but your number level can decrease

Your insignia (the two boxes) will always represent you highest skill achieved. No matter if your rank goes down. The rank is Captain, by the way.

u still keep ur rank even if u drop below the required level. thats y its called highest skill achieved. instead of current skill

You can lose your Rank.

Example: Say when you reach 100 Exp you become a Captain. If you quit a game it takes 1 Exp. So, then you would have 99 Exp and lose your Captain Rank.
