In Halo 3, I'm playing campaign in "Normal", but my service record says otherwise.?

In Halo 3, I began playing "solo campaign" in Heroic, then I decided it was too hard, so I completely restarted in "Normal". Right now, I am on the eighth level of solo campaign on normal...however, when I went to my service record on Xbox Live, it said that I was "in line for duty" (basically means still on campaign) on Heroic, does that mean I will get both achievements even though I actually am on normal, or did I maybe accidentaly still pick heroic the second time around? My gamertag is "irnmatic8" if you guys wanna check it out. Thanks!

it is most likely that you have changed to normal yet live is still reading it at heroic because you have completed the game partially on heroic. If you are truly playing on normal, you will only get the achievement for normal, to get any other achievement, you have to start and finish on that level.

Heroic too hard? Hmmmm... It's challenging I guess, but you shouldn't have to change the difficulty.

It still says Heroic because you didn't change it to Normal. You will get both achievements regardless.

I checked your Service Record. It says you're only on Crow's Nest on Normal difficulty.

Yeah, either you didnt change it to heroic and save it, or (which i doubt) you were farther in the game on herioc than you were on normal. But, if you beat the game in heroic, you get that achievement as well as the normal achievement! P.S. Stay after the credits for the real ending
