Ways I Can Unlock New Armor

a few ways are to beat the game on legendary, also i believe you receive new armor for unlocking all the skulls, and not positive on this but i think you get armor for all the achievements unlocking, and for recon armor you need to do something that bungie thinks is impressive and will give it to you.(one rumor i have heard was to snipe yourself)

There are these terminals hidden across the game. If you access them all you get the Armour from Marathon. Go to Gamefaqs.com to get the locations of the terminals.

Spartan Sets...

EVA Armor:
Chest - Complete Tsavo highway on normal, heroic or legendary.
Shoulders - Complete The Ark on normal, heroic or legendary.
Head - Complete campaign on normal.

EOD Armor:
Chest - Complete Tsavo Highway on legendary.
Shoulders - Complete The Ark on legendary.
Head - Complete campaign on legendary.

Security Armor:
Shoulders - Earn 750 Gamerscore points.
Head - Earn 1000 Gamerscore points.

Scout Armor:
Chest - Unlock "Too close to the sun" achievement.
Shoulders - Unlock "Were in for some chop" achievement.
Head - Unlock "Used car salesman" achievement.

Mark V Armor:

to unlock armor in halo 3 you need to get the skulls in each lvl check out halo 3 skulls on youtube and you will shurly get results but getting them is hard takes a while other ways is finish the game on legendary and get beter rating on live

To get the hayabusa armour, collect every hidden skull in the game.

Other than that, I can't remember any right now. But I'm pretty sure that if you go to halopedia, and search Halo 3 Armour, you will be able to find a list of armour and how to get it.
