is halo 3 a good game?

Halo Wars is fun but not worth the money for like the 8 hours of gameplay it took to beat the game. It also has no replay value whatsoever at all. Halo 3 is pretty short also as far as single player goes. You will beat it in 1 long night. However it is amazingly fun to challenge on legendery with a buddy. Also Halo 3 multiplayer is some of the best their is to sample. Its very much fun and has great replay value. More of a multiplayer game though its always fun to zip through campaign quickly

Halo 3 is first person shooter, and halo wars is like an age of empire game where you make classes then do lots of clicking to move your dudes and kill the others base.
Yea its good, and fun online. If your just out to get a fun first person shooter for the 360, then get Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2. Pwns Halo 3 sooo hard.

no. first problem, it is a mindless shooter. second problem. it is for xturd. get a ps3 and forget about the retarded shooters. i dont know why these cheap immitations of games havent faded out yet. there hasnt been a good one since goldeneye for n64, they should have went down with the ship. why do you want to let game developers rip you off by being lazy and not even giving you a charachter. oh wait, does an arm and a gun count? stupid, they are all exactly the same. this is like buying madden or nhl year after year.

It is by far one of the most over hyped and broken games ever!
Halo 2 was enough but they stretched it too far making it EXACTLY the same as its predecessors...

WOAHOHOHO. Do NOT get Halo Wars. I own it, I got the special Edition. It was a one time play through game. I have over 300 hours of play time in Halo 3. And about 10 in Halo Wars. Halo Wars is an RTS, which means Real Time Strategy, like Command and Conquer and Age of Empires. Slow and tedious. Halo 3 is an FPS which mean First Person Shooter, like Call of Duty or BattleField: Bad Company. Fast action, high quality. That is my answer. Buy Halo 3 and we can play sometime. Trust me, don't buy Halo Wars.
