Is my Halo 3: ODST Multiplayer disk DEFECTIVE?!?

I got halo 3: odst for christmas and was surprised to find it was a 2-disk game, one for campaign and one for multiplayer. my campaign works fine, but i put my multiplayer disk in and selected it to play it, and the screen turned black, and my xbox started making this really loud sound(louder than usual). please help me out here. has anyone else experienced this problem? and will bungie or xbox or whoever send me a replacement disk... what if i go to gamestop and ask them what the problem is?

i never heard of that before but i would try taking my disk to gamestop and get a replacement.

I never had this problem but personally i think you should go to gamestop or xbox support and ask them before making other steps
