Kill Death Spread V.S. Kills - Halo 3?

Me and my friend are having a debate about halo 3 and what is more important the amount of kills you have or your kill death spread.

Lets say you have 23 kills and 24 deaths (in a game to 25) is that better than having only 5 kills but only 4 deaths.

And back to that person with 23 kills and 24 deaths. Is there any benefit to that person being on your team because of their 23 kills or are those 24 deaths making them hurt you're team and making them not worth it

if the person is getting 24 deaths a game boot them. they are dragging their team down.

yes it is better because you only need 2 more kills to win the game.

ya the K/D spread is definetly more important than the amount ok kills....................................................cuz then theres no use of getting those kills....always keep ur kills more than ur deaths
