then at the end it shows a older black male with the voice of master chief as they honor the captins deaf!!! This si the answer to is Master Chief really black!!! Beat the game for yourself and see that I am right!!!
Hey Im not saying that it is wrong to have a black man as a hero in video games. Geezz!!! By the way Barret totally sucks in FF7. Cloud is always going to be the best

Actually, that is incorrect. Say what you want, but Master Chief is elsewhere.

Huge spoiler ahead if you haven't beat the game. Read at you own risk if you haven't played or beaten the game, yet!

When the Ark was destroyed, the Chief, the Arbiter and Cortana were on a ship racing towards a portal that would have gotten them far enough away from the explosion. The Arbiter ran to the bridge of the ship to pilot it. Chief and Cortana stayed in the cargo hold. Now, as they reached the portal it collapsed. Half of the ship, the front half that contained the Arbiter, was transported safely to Earth. The other half, which had both Chief and Cortana inside, was transported elsewhere. All three survived, but only the Arbiter made it back to Earth. Chief and Cortana are stranded in space somewhere. The character you're speaking of can't be Master Chief since Chief is stranded in space somewhere.

Would it really matter that much if it was true? Everyone was surprised to find out Samus was female in Metroid, now it makes no difference. There are other Black Heros in games. Barett Walace, in Final Fantasy VII for example. Remember, these are just fictional characters. Color in games, or real life, really shouldn't make a difference^_^.
