my xbox 360 hardrive lost all my halo 3 memory and when i try playing the game

it freezes any solutions? idk if its my system or hardrive but sometimes it even shows up as a dvd

You can try and manually delete any remaining halo 3 data and then put your disc in the drive and make sure you connected to xbox live. There should be an automatic update and that might replace the missing data that got deleted.


If that doesn't work check disk scratches or possible hardware issues. A good way to troubleshoot this would be to try other games, cds, and dvd movies.
