I bought a limited edition Halo 3 and the disc came in the box all scratched up. I took it back to Best Buy and they can't replace it because they have no more, so I turned to Microsoft. I emailed Microsoft my problem and they said they won't replace my halo 3 disc because I do not have a Xbox 360. So I then called Xbox and argued with them and they refuse to exchange it with a new one. What can I do? This is BS.
No I don't have any friends who have an available serial number to give me, and Best Buy won't take it back b/c it was opened.
It is a known very common problem with the Limited Edition Halo 3 game being scratched due to Very poor design of the little plastic disc holder.
You would think because of a manufacture defect they would replace all of their defective product.
