Question about "The Ark" from Halo 3.?

When you start the mission, the dude says "hey, check it out. in the sky, is that..." and then the other guy interrupts him, what was he going to say? All I see up there is a small galaxy, is that supposed to be our galaxy?

I doubt it will be another galaxy the covenant the humans nor the flood posses technology to get to other ones, as far as i know...

Yeah that is our galaxy I believe. Cant remember exactly I only looked at it for a brief moment. Xais what are you talking about. They dont have the technology? You obviously havent played Halo or are just really stupid.
