I played Halo 3 at my friends house and it didn't really seem M rated, the blood isn't really realstic and it is not like it is humans dieing bloody deaths

I personally think Halo3 should be rated T, because look at the COD series and they are bloodier and the violence is against humans and they are rated T.

some of the ppl before this made some good justifications in their reason, but i think that it should. Let me tell you why. When you have a franchise that has game that are already rated M it is hard to change the rating in the game without making huge changes in the game itself. it is not always the purple blood, like some one said, that makes the game rated M. The game is also rated M for the content that it has in it. i mean in the third Halo Quintana and Master Chief have some "interesting' feelings for eachother. i am not saying that it is bad for a kid to hear these things but sometimes a kid doesn't NEED to hear or see the blood and dialog that the game has. Master chief's companions often throw out SHIT or something to the effect. Who wants a kid running around saying that. And to top it all off the game would be worse if it was rated teen. They would take out ALL the "purple blood you see" and gore that some with the game. idk about you but those things keep me interested in the game.

All first person shooters get M Ratings now. It's a standard set by the ESRB recently.

COD4 has less violence than Halo 3, but it got an M as well.

The only recent one that got a T was Metroid Prime 3, because it did not feature actual Guns.
