should i buy halo 3?

im thinking if buying this game since its so popular and almost everyone i know have it... but should i get it? im not a fan of shooters, but i did like perfect dark zero, and counter strike:S i havent played halo 1 or 2 since i dont have a xbox (only a 360 without a hdd...)...
can you please tell me good and bad things about this game? and hows the online? does it lagg, does it not lag... stuff like that

Halo 3 is the third and final instalment in the Halo trilogy. If you liked Perfect Dark Zero and Counter-Strike, Halo 3 is quite similar to it. Some good things about the game is that it has a video playback of on the missions/custom games you played. You can save and edit these for later uses. You also have a Map editor for multiplayer purposes, where you can create your own battlefield. Best thing about Halo 3, is its online content. Play up to 16 players online, additional content (maps) are released from the game's creators, and other people's creations. The multiplayer experience is never ending, and the community, is great. In response to lag, it just depends what kind of Internet connection you have. For me, I don't experience any lag. Some disappointing points in Halo 3 could be the Campaign. It's a little weaker than what some of the fans would have liked, but it's still very good. And since a lot of your friends have it, the multiplayer experience with them would be definitely worth your money.
