What do I need to download to play hardcore for xbox live in halo 3?

i want to play hardcore for Matchmaking in Xbox live, but it says "One or more players do not have the maps required to play in this playlist" the playlist is hardcore. What should i do?

Wellllll,

First of all there is no Hardcore playlist. Currently Bungie has a MLG playlist. The only way to play these maps is to download the maps obviously.

Go to your dashboard, scroll to the left and go find Halo 3 in the store. You will need to download the map packs to be able to play on these maps.
