What is the best duel wielding combanation for halo 3?

I think it is the brute spiker in the left hand and the brute mauler vin the right but i want to know what the rest of you think.

Spiker and Plasma Rifle is a great combination. The Spiker and Mauler is good also; use the Spiker to lower shields then use to the Mauler to finish them off.

Plasma pistol in left hand, Mauler in right (if you're right handed... swap if you're left).

Charge the plasma pistol and hit them with the charged blast, then one hit with mauler takes them out.
