What the heck with the ending of Halo 3?

i thought the ending sucked is there any kind of secret ending like in the last few games.

the idea of halol 4 is possible, but extremly unlikley. i mean what is there left to do? there is no more storyline to continue. i think they will sum up how he gets home in the movie.
