where should I start with halo 3?

I just got into it, and I have no idea where to start... matchmaking? campaign? what is the best way to learn. which games or playlists?

Campaign if you don't have someone to guide you around in multiplayer and than move onto matchmatching after you got the basic controls.

if you just got the game ten you should go onto multilayer and search for games under "Basic Training" and you will fight a bunch of people that are new to halo3

Campaign is one player. If you never played it try that and get used to the controls. Matchmaking is online so if you want to play with other people go on that.

Usually what i did,
i did social slayer
you play with people in your rank and you learn how to use the guns and the maps.
and from then on you level up and can play people and you get bettter and better.
