Actually the script was dropped, it has not been officially cancelled, and Peter Jackson is looking at picking it up. as far as an actor do play master chief, i would say Kevin Peter Hall ( if he was still alive ) who played the Predator and Harry from harry and the Hendersons, but currently I would aim for Tyler Mane, stature fits, has prosthetic and acting experience, knows how to physically handle all the needs of Master Chief, and is a Gamer.
