why cant i play slayer on halo 3?

when i play on matchmaking i choose playlist:slayer and it says one or more player doesn't have the map and my experience is 50 why cant i play slayer?

Maybe the particular playlist needs the new mappack. They're free at the marketplace right now anyway, so might as well get them. Hope it works!
