Why do so many people hate snowbound in halo 3?

I as wondering, why do so many people veto a game of halo 3 when the map is snowbound? is there a specific reason?

Well I hate it because you grenades do not even really bounce and it is just if you a shotgun or the sniper than u dominate and be a cheapo.
Another reason is the ghost. The ghost can be to over powering considering that the outside is huge and doesn't offer a lot of cover, your just a sore thumb when walking outside and then if your inside and don't have shotgun then you are freaking screwed.
I am a brigadier so I am not a noob.

One pro of snowbound is that it is covered in snow.
