Why does halo 3: ODST lag soooo much =(?

every single time i play online halo 3dst (campaign, firefight) it always lags, even when we are all aussie =( there is 4 of us tho but still is it possible to play without the lag =(

Check your internet connection. Is there other people using the internet while your playing online?
Or do the people you play with have bad connections? Any lag-related problem most likely isn't related to the game itself. Unless its scratched or damaged.
