Why does the halo 3 heroic map pack take long to download on marketplace?

I went to xbox live marketplace and started downloading the heroic map pack. Ive been sitting here for 2 days turning it on and off and its taking 10mins to load to the next percent. Sometimes it wont even change.
And if i do leave it on my controller will turn off then it stops the downloading

its best to leave ur xbox on till it finishes downloading if not it will take longer(dont worry wont over heat i leave mine on for like 2 days straight and still working perfectly) and see if u have enough memory space cuz that could slow it down if not so it would also fit certain maps and u will be missing some.
