I recently brought my Halo 3 disk to a friends house to play. He has an Xbox 360 Arcade version, and when we put the disk in, the game played up until the advertisement for Bungee in the beginning but it never got to the actual Halo 3 home page, and then it said:
"Your disk is either dirty or damaged. Use a soft cloth to clean the disk,"
Before I took the disk to his house, Halo 3 was working fine the day before, and no damaged whatsoever happened to it.
When I brought it back to my house, on my regular 360, it got a little farther then the Bungee screen, but the "Your disk is dirty or damaged" message came up again. I cleaned the disk well, and there aren't alot of scratches or any dirt, and it still didn't work. Did the arcade version ruin my disk? Or is it a problem with my 360? What else can I do to fix the disk? Who can I bring it to for help?
My Xbox 360 plays all other games fine, so it can't be damaged.
I've had Halo 3 since it came out, it's not a new disk.
