xbox 360 headset halo 3?

i can hear other people but like everytime i talk into it i say hello can you hear me and no one says anything, i dont think they can hear me but when someone elses talk i can hear them, maybe were not using it right. what might be the problem?


it's connected to the wireless controller.

well a lot of guys act shocked to hear a girl on there.
when you speak does your headset icon on the left show that your talking?If not you might just have a broken headset.

There's a switch on it that mutes it. Flick this switch to unmute it. If it still doesnt work, it may be faulty. But on Halo 3, you have to push the d-pad right to talk.
