Xbox 360 live Halo 3 Question. Please help.?

i just got live 5 days ago. i have halo 3, and i want to play the bigger maps on halo 3. whenever i try it says one or more people havent downloaded the map or something like that.

the maps im talking about are: last resort, vallahalla, sandtrap etc....

why can i only play on the pit, snowbound, narrows, isolation, high ground, guardian, epitaph, and construct?

also i only have one friend so far. could that be the problem?

do i need a hard drive or something?

yes u nead a hard drive other wiss u cant save

There should be an option under downloads to download those maps I think...It's been awhile. The 360 should come equipped to be able to download those maps and play them.

you need hard drive. make sure that if u r using live that you dont leave games early it brouht my rank down by not letting me lvl up =( hope your maps down load. =)
