What's your favorite Halo character besides Master Chief?

We all know how popular and good Master Chief is in the Halo game franchise. There no good fan of Halo game that's never gonna love Master Chief. But if you were to choose another character aside from him, who's it going to be and what's your reason for choosing the character?

Cortana will be my favorite Halo character even though she is an artificial intelligence, she can be very interesting the way she do things and started developing conscience of our own. This is one of the reason why I liked her character.

Cortana will be my choice though she's an Artificial Intelligence, her capabilities, strategic thinking and evolving personality sold her out that people fall in love with her easily. Her interactions with other characters are engaging and memorable.
