how many of you have played halo before halo 2 was released? how many of you have never touched halo until you heard about halo 2?

I have played Halo a LOT because it is a very nice and entertaining game. But i have heard that there were many failed ventures of games which tried to be comparable to Halo with similar theme of gameplay, but never succedded. Anyone played such a game. Share your opinion about it.

Since alomst an year now the prices of laptops have fell down to such a level that their entry level prices now stand equivalent to a mid range desktops. Do you think that with this kind of scenario the desktops would continue with their current lead in the market as compared to laptops.

I have played age of empires by ensemble studios and find that game really interesting but latest episode of age of empire 3 was really dull and boring. Do you think ensemble would be able to do justice to the halo brandname and don't create a better-to-forget kinda game like AOE 3?
